NOTE ON DETERMINING AGE
To my knowledge all pieces on this site are dated correctly. However the exact age of a vintage item is extremely difficult to determine, particularly on classic styles. I have dated pieces generally to within a decade in good faith and to the best of my ability and knowledge. Please note even with years of experience mistakes can still be made.

DELIVERY AND POSTAL RATES
Mavro Vintage aims to deliver your order within seven days. Standard delivery within the UK is a fixed rate of £4.00 per order. We would recommend Special Delivery for orders over £50.00. Items will be despatched via Royal Mail First Class recorded delivery or Parcel Force.
Overseas orders are welcome and Mavro Vintage is happy to post worldwide.

At Mavro vintage we guarantee all our items and we hope you will be delighted with your purchase.
We offer refunds, exchanges or credit but regret we do not refund postage charges for the dispatch or return of items.
If you wish to return an item, simply email us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of receiving your item. Please return your item within 7 days (10 days international) in the same condition you received it unworn and undamaged and with packaging and any tags etc still attached. Please return items using recorded delivery or obtain a proof of posting from the Post Office.
We reserve the right to refuse refunds, exchanges or credit on any items believed to have been worn or damaged since dispatch from Mavro Vintage.
If we have overlooked something major a full refund will be given.

3. MAKING A PURCHASE
Making a purchase could not be easier. Simply browse our catalogue here online, clicking on any items for further information and to add to the shopping cart. After you have finished your selections, click on “Basket Symbol” to view your purchases and continue to the checkout. At checkout time you will be asked for a few details that we need in order to process the order.
We try to make sure that the prices on our website are accurate but errors may occur. If we discover an error in pricing of the goods in your order we will inform you as soon as possible using the contact details you supply us and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. (If we are unable to reach you we will treat the order as cancelled). In the event of an order being cancelled, any payment made for the goods will be refunded in full.
All offers are available while stocks last. If we are unable to supply a particular item which you have ordered or if the correct price for an item is different from the price on your order, we will notify you as soon as we can after receiving your order. If this happens, you may cancel your order and we will refund you any money which you have paid.
You will be notified of the delivery costs automatically before you submit your credit card details. If you order on-line but pay other than with a credit card, or order in any other way, please contact us for details of the postage cost.
4. METHODS OF PAYMENT
We accept all major credit and debit card payments via PAYPAL secure online payment processing service. We also accept payment via paypal accounts. Personal and company cheques are also accepted.
Please note that no order will be dispatched for shipping until it is paid for in full.
You can pay by any: Visa or MasterCard credit card or by Switch, Solo or Delta debit card or by a paypal account . To ensure that shopping on-line is secure, your credit/debit details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of someone being able to read your details as they are processed by the PAYPAL secure payment site over the Internet.
We do not store or see your credit card details all card processing is carried out on the PAYPAL secure payment website. No one else can see your payment details, not even ourselves. We are simply instructed by PAYPAL that an authorisation has been approved.
You may also pay by cheque or postal order if you wish.
The prices displayed on our web site are in British pounds ( GBP )
We only debit money from your account when the good(s) are ready for despatch.
We aim to despatch goods within 1 working day (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays).
We will inform you if we cannot despatch goods within 3 working days of the order being placed (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays) and payment being approved.
All doods are to be supplied from stock, such supply is subject to availability of stocks at the date of your order.
No matter which shipping method you opt for, delivery timescales are from date of shipment from us and not date of order placement.
We offer 2 main delivery options within the UK:
I) ROYAL MAIL FIRST CLASS RECORDED SIGNED
The most cost effective delivery method sent as Royal Mail FIRST CLASS Recorded Signed for smaller lightweight packages. Please note that although a signature is required to confirm receipt, we cannot track items that have been dispatched via Recorded Signed First Class. Royal Mail state that they “aim to deliver all First Class items the next working day” but do not guarantee delivery times. If you select this delivery method and you miss your required date, then we are sorry but we will not be held responsible.
• Fixed price of £4.00 per order, depending on weight of the package.
• Delivery times not guaranteed with no claim for loss until 15 days from posting.
• Maximum £28.00 Insurance for loss or damage (please ensure you are happy with this level of compensation when placing your order)
• Delivery days Monday to Saturday
• Maximum 1KG in weight ( for weights between 1-2KG there will be an additional surcharge of £1)
• Typically allow 1 to 5 working days for delivery
• Will need to collect from Post Office if no-one in at delivery time

II) ROYAL MAIL SPECIAL DELIVERY
Royal Mail Special Delivery gives the comfort and security that your order, once dispatched will be received the next working day before 13.00 hours.

• Weekday 1 day delivery guarantee before 13.00 noon

The following conditions apply to the above options:
A. Delivery Service Upgrades
Should the weight of any UK Recorded Signed or UK Special Delivery consignment be in excess of 2KG in weight, we reserve the right to upgrade shipment of your order to a National Carrier and ask for additional monies to cover increased postage costs.
B. Loss, Delay & Damaged Goods
Although MAVRO VINTAGE are responsible for shipping and making any claim for compensation for loss or delay on your behalf, any claim will be limited to the maximum compensation allowed by the shipping method you choose. In respect of any shipment, all goods leave us in appropriate packing material and in a non-damaged state. MAVRO VINTAGE themselves will not accept liability for any claim for non delivery of goods or items deemed Broken in Transit, though depending on the circumstances, we may, at our sole discretion, claim compensation or replace goods where applicable via the appropriate carrier on your behalf.
C. Custom Tax
Non-EU customers are responsible for Import Duty/Tax in their respective countries. Unfortunately we cannot advise you what these costs will be – please consult your local customs office for more information.
We believe that you will be delighted with your product but there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item. We aim to keep the process as simple as possible. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
We offer a 7-day money back guarantee on goods starting from the day after you take delivery of them. All we ask is that the goods are returned unused, in its original packaging, and with the original invoice. The following procedure must be followed:
Please contact us using email@example.com by providing the following information – full details and invoice number, and why you wish to return the goods. You will then be issued with a refund authorisation number, which you need to send with the returned goods.
You have a legal ‘duty of care’ in respect of the goods returned, You will be responsible for the item or items until they reach us. We recommend that you use recorded delivery, as ‘proof of posting’ may be required.For your own protection, we suggest you use a secure delivery method which requires a signature upon delivery such as Royal Mail First Class (Recorded Delivery). Please mark the parcel ‘returns’ and package the goods neatly.
We try to make refunds within one week of receipt, but guarantee to make all refunds within 30 calendar days from receipt of goods. Please note that we will not be liable for any interest payments as refunds may fall outside debit/credit card timescales.
Returned/Exchange Items – In order to keep our product prices low, it is up to the discretion of management to apply an admin charge of £2 to cover costs related of these activities.
8. SHORT OR DAMAGED GOODS
Goods that are either faulty/damaged or short in quantity must be notified to us within 24 hours of delivery. This may be done either by phone or e-mail.
If you return an item to us which is faulty, which you did not order or for any other reason which is our fault, please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org to inform us and we will arrange a refund or replacement. In the event of you returning goods to us we will also pay you the cost of the return postage. In this event, please contact us first and we will allocate you a Returns Code (which you may wish to include with the package to ensure we process your return as efficiently as possible) and we will also advise you how to send the item back to us. We usually ask that you send items back to us via Royal Mail First Class (Recorded), but occasionally items may have to be picked up by a courier service. Please obtain a proof of posting certificate from your Post Office to enable us to process the refund for your return postage costs.
Where applicable, VAT is included in the product prices. Please note that general children’s clothing is zero-rated for VAT purposes.
MAVRO VINTAGE do not disclose buyers information to third parties.
Information will only be used to process the buyer’s order and fulfil the delivery function.
11 OTHER TERMS
The company shall not be liable for any failure to perform all or part of its obligations if such failure is due to circumstances outside its control, such as Acts of God, strikes, lock outs, labour disturbance, Government statute or order, fire, equipment breakdown or late delivery of supplies.
We will not be responsible for any losses resulting from your use or the inability to use our website or resulting from unauthorised access to, or alteration of your transmissions or data in circumstances which are beyond our control.
We will not be responsible for your loss of profits, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data or any other loss which does not directly result from something we have done wrong.
We make no promise that our website will be uninterrupted or entirely error free.

These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Disputes arising in relation to this Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
